Naučí se každá andulka mluvit?
Bohužel ne. Některé andulky ale napodobují různé zvuky, například zvonek u dveří, anebo opakují často slýchané melodie. Existují ale také andulky, které nedělají vůbec nic. Mluví pouze a výhradně svou vlastní "řečí". Pokud právě takovou andulku máš, nesmíš z toho být zklamaný/á. Určitě má tvůj ptáček jiné schopnosti. Určitě si dobře hraje s různými hračkami jako třeba náš Edík. Má modrobílý váleček s rolničkou uprostřed a nedělá mu nic větší radost než to, když mi ho může zobákem sebrat z ruky a hodit ho na zem, kde vydá hlasitý zvuk. Každá andulka si najde svou vlastní hru, kterou s tebou bude hrát.
Jsou andulky mazlivé?
Žádného ptáka nemůžeš jen tak vzít do ruky a mazlit se s ním tak jako třeba s morčetem. Kdybys něco takového s ptákem udělal/a, velice by ho to vyděsilo a už by k tobě nikdy neměl důvěru. Jeho strach z chycení ti můžu dobře vysvětlit. V přírodě jsou malí ptáčci často loveni těmi velkými dravci, jsou jejich kořistí. Takže když vezmeš malou andulku do ruky, má stejný pocit, jako by ji právě chytil velký pták a k smrti ji to vyděsí. Pokud chceš andulku jako domácí zvířátko, uvědom si, že to není žádný mazlík. Ptáčka je ale hrozně zajímavé pozorovat. Dívej se, jak důkladně si čistí peří a protahuje při tom každé peříčko svým zobáčkem, anebo s jakým nadšením se pouští do okusování čerstvé větvičky. Pokud máš doma párek andulek, můžeš sledovat, jak se navzájem krmí, drbou a hrají si. A když se budeš své andulce dostatečně a trpělivě věnovat, ochočí se natolik, že ti sama vyskočí na ruku a možná se naučí i mluvit. Tak poznáš, že k tobě má velikou důvěru.
Jak poznáš v obchodě pár andulek?
Ne každá mladá andulka se hned prodá. A pokud žije v obchodě delší dobu ve společné kleci s jinými mláďaty, často si mezi nimi najde partnera nebo partnerku. Párek andulek poznáš podle toho, že sedí těsně vedle sebe na bidýlku, vzájemně si čistí peří, dotýkají se zobáčky a vůbec všechno dělají společně. Takový pár by rozhodně neměl být rozdělen, měli byste rovnou koupit oba ptáky. Jinak bude každý z nich truchlit pro druhého. Musíš ale také vědět, že párek se neochočí tak rychle jako jediná andulka. Na druhou stranu jsou ale andulky ve dvou šťastnější než o samotě.
Smí se andulka dívat na televizi?
Andulka si musí na televizi a její zvuky zvykat pomalu, protože má velmi jemný sluch. Pokud například dávají detektivku, ve které se střílí, výstřely mohou andulku hodně vyděsit. Proto televizi nastavte raději tiše a andulku umístěte co nejdále od obrazovky
Smít stát klec s andulkou ve tvém pokoji?
V zásadě ano, ale nezapomeň, že ptáci se ráno probudí, jakmile se rozední. Poskakují potom po kleci a štěbetají. Jistě by tě budili. Zvaž také, zda by tvá andulka nebyla příliš osamělá. Ráno odcházíš do školy a odpoledne ještě třeba rád/a něco podnikneš s kamarády/kami. A pták by byl stále sám. Daleko spokojenější bude, když se kolem něj něco bude dít.
Jaké vybrat andulce jméno?
Ve jménu, které své andulce vybereš, by rozhodně měla být písmenka jako "i", "í", nebo "e". Znějí při vyslovování jasně a ptákovi blízce, protože i on má vysoký hlas. Pokud má navíc řečový talent, budou se mu tyto hlásky dobře vyslovovat. Pojmenuj ho třeba Honzík, Pepíček, Mimi nebo Kiki. Andulku vždy oslovuj jejím jménem. Čím častěji budeš jméno vyslovovat, tím rychleji se naučí, že toto jméno patří jí.
